I recently started my Willys EcoDiesel 'Evolution: Rubicon Conquering' build, which included a re-gear, axle lockers, and RCV & chromoly axle installs. Having previously lived in Northern CA, I knew Premier West Gears was considered the go-to shop on the West Coast. After moving to New Mexico, I couldn't find a local shop with Premier West’s reputation or competitive pricing. So, I made an appointment and drove the 700 miles to Corona. Amazingly, they completed all the work in a single day—exactly as promised! They even threw in a free REM polish, eliminating the usual break-in period and allowing me to jump straight onto the highway for the drive home. Their customer focus is top-tier, and their technicians are true experts in this specialized work. Highly recommend

Great experience with Premier. Got my 2016 ram 2500 regeared to 4.10s with 35" tires. Got my truck in and out same day. Towing going to be so much better moving forward. Highly recommend .

This place is amazing! Miguel went above and beyond to find a differential for our 2015 Chevy Truck. Alec was also very helpful. Communication was great and they were very honest and respectful.

I took my ‘12 FJ Cruiser in for 4:88’s after putting 35’s on it. I arrived 15 minutes late at 9:45 and they got me right in. I waited and they were done by 3pm. They answered all my questions and even offered to give me my old gears just cause I was asking so many questions. I left the shop, stopped for gas on the corner and didn’t stop again till I got to Ehrenburg, AZ. Drove the rest of the way to Phoenix. I changed my gear oil in March and drove to Vegas then to Zion, back to Vegas and back to Phoenix with no issues. I had my clutch replaced by the local Stealership and they said everything was tip-top except for the clutch. Several desert camping trips and off-road excursions as well. VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK! Would give 10 stars! Saved me $1,800 compared to what shops in Phoenix were offering.

Very professional very fast, they just finished my 4th car about a week ago. No break-in period and drove amazing back to Bay Area.

Thank you Alec and the guys working on the Jeep, solid job and thank you for being honest on the Tazer tuning part, if you got a sport with the small screen make sure you marry the tazer before trying to change your gear ratio, perfomance won't show up unless married! Love this guys ethics and customer service, Jeep got 4.88 gears, a Traklok carrier, adams driveshafts and the Jeep feels brand new! Thank you guys for the attention to detail, definitely will keep bringing it in for more upgrades!

Don Miguel is the man! Carlos and Miguel always very helpful. This is the third car I bring in for re-gear and every time is a great experience, they even pointed out that one of my axles in my Jeep was bent and upgaded to chromoly axles during the gear service . I highly recommend this shop just make an appointment because they are always super busy.

Went in for a front and rear differential upgrade and everything was perfect except my rear axle started leaking but I took it back and they replaced my bearings and seals with no added costs. Over all great shop and great service all around.

IMO Do not take your rig there! Paid nearly $4000 for re-gearing to 4:88 and a rear tru track. Waited the day for work completion, only to get in my rig with "service 4wd" light displayed. Long story short and 3 appointments later, still I cannot get my vehicle into 4L. Add insult to injury, they damaged my new front drivers steering stabilizer when the mechanic tried to remove front drivers side diff; oil leaks from diff and transfer case now, where it hadn't prior to bringing it to Premier. The final straw was, speaking to the owner (Carlos) about the poor work done and that it needed to be corrected or I would have no choice but to get BAR involved. His smug response was, "go ahead"! This is how an owner responds to a customers concerns? You have been warned!

I was recommended to go to Premier West Gears for all things gears and differentials. It is a bit far from where I live but they were able to get me in and finish the job in one day and they were also able to wire my locker in as well. Worth the drive to go to the people who do this day in and day out.
